How Does Sound Masking Work?
Similar to how perfume covers up an unpleasant smell, sound masking uses gentle, ambient background sound to cover the sound of conversations, whether across an open floor or through an office door. We designed, proposed, and installed large systems covering hundreds of cubicles, offices, and conference rooms, complete with detailed speaker location drawings, equipment lists, and specifications for speaker height and volume levels.
- LDS Church — Mesa, Arizona
Church buildings include offices where meetings and interviews with patrons take place, often about deeply personal matters. We install masking outside each office so patrons can speak about their most sensitive private matters without worrying that anyone outside the door will hear what is being said.
